TAGBILARAN CITY -- Bohol Governor  Edgar Chatto has condemned the bomb scare that rocked the city on Tuesday and said he will not leave no stone unturned in the investigation of the threat that shocked Tagbilaran City.

Police have started to trace the landline call to find leads in the investigation.

Tagbilaran's traffic went awry after police cordoned off the streets leading to a local hospital.

A hospital staff received the call saying a bomb has been placed inside the building.

Among those jolted by the bomb scare were volunteer doctors conducting a free surgical mission offered by a local charity group and the provincial government for indigent patients.

The bomb scare suspended the operations as everyone in the building was told to evacuate while the bomb squad scoured the building.

No bomb was found after an hour and a half search and the patients and hospital staff were allowed to return.

The surgical mission continued after the police cleared the hospital. (Dave Albarado/PNA)
