MANILA -- President Rodrigo Duterte will be the guest-of-honor and speaker for the Philippine Navy's (PN) 120th founding anniversary on Tuesday.
This was confirmed by Navy spokesperson Capt. Lued Lincuna in a text message Monday.
The event will take place at the Coconut Palace, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Complex, Pasay City, at 2 p.m.
Lincuna said this year's anniversary theme is “Protecting the Seas, Securing Our Future”.
Highlights of the event are the fleet review of PN vessels including the Multi-Purpose Attack Craft (MPAC) newly-equipped with missiles, fly-by of naval air assets and capability demonstration of amphibious operations.
Outstanding PN personnel and units will also be feted during the ceremony. (PNA)
