CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan -- Two alleged drug peddlers were killed and 33 other drug and crime suspects were arrested in separate anti-criminality law enforcement operations by the Bulacan police on Monday and early morning of Tuesday.

Bersaluna said de Vera was included on the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list of the Sta. Maria Municipal Police Station.

“The suspects were killed in separate armed encounters. They fired their guns towards the anti-illegal drugs operatives when they sensed that they were dealing with undercover agents. The police officers have no choice but to defend themselves which resulted in the death of the suspects,” he said.
