PAMPANGA — Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Friday lauded the Philippine National Police (PNP) for braving all kinds of dangers in support of President Rodrigo Duterte’s agenda to fight corruption, crime and illegal drugs, and in ensuring a better future for the next generation.

“Importante kayo sa laban natin para protektahan ang ating mga anak at mabigyan sila ng mas magandang kinabukasan,” he said.

Go added that the courage and commitment of the police to ensure peace and order in support of the administration’s reform agenda is important so that economic progress will be felt and enjoyed by every Filipino.

“Sa inyo nakasalalay hindi lang ang kapayapaan kundi maging ang kaunlaran ng ating bansa. Hindi naman kasi lalago ang mga negosyo kung hindi ligtas ang ating mga lansangan,” Go said.

Go also congratulated the graduates of the National Police Training Institute (NPTI) who underwent and finished the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC).

PSBRC is one of the training programs conducted by the NPTI.

It is a 24-week intensive and progressive training designed for newly-appointed police and non-commissioned officers to provide them with basic knowledge and skills in police science, administration, combat operation and tactics.

During his speech in the the graduation of ‘PSBRC RTC3 Class 2018-01 ALPHA TO JULIET’ in Magalang, Pampanga, Go also encouraged the graduates to not stop seeking for new knowledge as they play a vital role in keeping the country safe and secure.

“Always keep enhancing your knowledge and seek to improve it because the government needs you to be highly competent and committed,” Go said. (PR)
