Retired cop gunned down in Bukidnon

MALAYBALAY CITY--A 54-year-old retired police officer was gunned down around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Police identified the victim as Reynaldo Sudaria, married and a resident of Barangay 7 here. He was killed by "riding-in-tandem" assailants in Barangay Violeta here.

Police said they could not yet determine the motive of the killing.

Sudaria was visiting his friends in the area when one of the two suspects suddenly showed up and shot him on the head at close range using a caliber .45 pistol, police said.

Citing witnesses, police said the suspects wore head gears to conceal their faces and fled to an unknown direction.

The Malaybalay City Police Office said it has assigned Senior Police Officer 3 Alexander Calma as investigator for the case. (PNA)
