LEGAZPI CITY -- A big-time drug pusher was nabbed Tuesday morning by anti-narcotics operatives who seized from him close to PHP400,000 worth of suspected shabu in a drug operation in Ligao City.
Chief Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-5 (PRO-5) spokesperson, identified the suspect as Dennis Valencia alias Choy, a notorious drug peddler from Barangay Abella in Ligao.
Calubaquib said the suspect was collared while transacting with an undercover agent posing as buyer at Sambitan Crossing, Maharlika Highway, in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Ligao City at around 9 a.m.
Valencia did not resist arrest while operatives seized from him two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 51.5 grams and with a street value of PHP350,200.
The suspect was a drug surrenderer and listed as No. 6 in the watchlist of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the province. (PNA)
