Woman abducted in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY -- A woman was snatched by a group of armed men from her residence located in a remote village of Bula town in Camarines Sur province, around midnight on Tuesday.

Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Regional Office-5 spokesperson, identified the victim as Judy Asaula, 47, married, of Barangay Palsong in said town.

Judy's husband Philbert was hurt when one of the 10 armed men fired at him and hit his right hand, Calubaquib said.

The police has sought the help of the military in conducting a search and pursuit operation against the attackers.

Calubaquib also said investigators are still determining the motive of the abduction. (PNA)
