IMUS CITY, Cavite -- The city government, in partnership with Philippine American Group of Educators and Surgeons (PAGES), will offer free surgery services for patients here on February 2 to 9.

Patients intending to avail of surgical repair of cleft lip and palate have until Jan. 31 to register at the newly opened Ospital ng Imus (ONI), and will be notified for screening procedures.

“(These include) the usual preliminary checks to ensure that the applicant is fit and procedure ready,” PAGES project focal person Larry Figueras said Thursday.

City tourism chief and concurrent public information head Edgardo 'Jay' Saquilayan, Jr. said the free surgery services are open to all prospective patients, including non-Imuseños.

“There is no target quota, slot limits, mas marami, mas maganda (the more, the better),” he said. (PNA)
