Senior Supt. Thomas Joseph Martir, Zamboanga City Police Office director, identified the arrested suspects as Sadan Alkaris Jailani, 22; Rajan Jumaani Sahaw, 26; and Ismail Indalez Nassal, 52.

Martir said the three were nabbed in an eatery along Pilar St., Barangay Zone IV at about 1:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Seized from the possession of the suspects was 1 kg. of suspected shabu, he said, adding the suspects were arrested by joint police, military, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives.

“The suspects should have been arrested yesterday (January 14), but they postponed the transaction to today (January 15),” he said.

Initial police information showed that Jailani and Sahaw are construction workers while Nassal is a driver.
