MANILA — Two organizations of tricycle operators and drivers on Sunday joined forces to support the candidacy of Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go.

The Tricycle Operators Drivers Association (TODA) chapters of Las Piñas City and Muntinlupa City launched the “TODA, TODO para kay GO” movement to back the senatorial bid of the former presidential aide.

Among those who attended the launch include National Capital Region TODA Coalition President, Ace Sevilla, Alabang-Muntinlupa TODA representative Ariel Lanting and Las Piñas TODA Representative, Bobby Sycangco.

Around 100 tricycle drivers who are members of the coalition also joined the said launch.

Sevilla commended Go for his role in bringing the voices of tricycle operators and drivers to President Rodrigo Duterte.

Among those given to tricyle drivers include scholarships from Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and livelihood programs from the Department of Labor and Employment and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar, meanwhile, lauded Go for his efforts in raising the needs of the alliance.

Mabuhay si Sap Bong Go!” Aguilar said. (PR)
