SUBIC, Zambales -- Police confiscated two handguns from a welder while conducting a Commission on Elections (Comelec) checkpoint along the National Highway, Barangay Mangan-vaca in this town Friday night.

Chief Insp. Joan Sibayan, 2nd PMFC Force Commander of the Subic Municipal Police Station, identified the suspect as Diosdado G. Cervantes Jr., 36, welder, of Sitio Baltao, Barangay Calapandayan, this town.
