334 Cavite cops promoted to next rank

IMUS CITY, Cavite -- Around 334 police officers of the Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) got their one-step higher rank promotions on Monday.

Of the total Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), three were promoted to police master sergeant, nine to police technical sergeant, eight to police staff sergeant, 49 to police sergeant, and 276 to police corporal.

“This promotion is just a start of a new chapter of our lives in the police service, new challenges will come and more responsibilities and accountabilities will be put in our shoulders. Let’s seek more self-improvement and contribute what’s best for our organization. Always be true to the oath of office that we take and do not do anything that will tarnish this success,” said Master Sergeant Mary Grace Bendullo in a statement.

Bendullo thanked the stakeholders for their untiring support to the men and women of CPPO.

She added the Cavite police force cannot be as efficient and effective if not through their help and with God’s guidance.

Colonel William Segun, Cavite Provincial Police Director, officiated the oath of office of the newly promoted police personnel after the flag-raising ceremony held at the Cuartel, Camp Brig. Gen. Pantaleon Garcia here, while the donning and pinning of the ranks were assisted by the police officers’ kin.

Major Ruel Dela Cruz, chief of the Police Provincial Human Resource and Development Branch (PPHRDB), presented and read the promotion orders.

Segun reported the promotion of the police officers to Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) Police Regional Director, Brig. Gen. Edward Carranza, and congratulated the newly promoted uniformed personnel.

“Indeed, hard work and dedication should be recognized. Keep up the good work,” Segun said. (Dennis Abrina/PNA)
