Cloudy skies, rain likely in PH till Friday pm: PAGASA

MANILA, Aug. 10 -- Partly cloudy to cloudy skies, except for isolated light to occasionally heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning, will be experienced over the entire country, state weather bureau, PAGASA, said in its 24-hour forecast released Thursday afternoon.

The ridge of a high-pressure area is affecting Luzon and the Visayas, PAGASA noted, adding that moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over extreme northern Luzon.

Coastal waters there will be moderate to occasionally rough, it said.

Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to west will prevail over the rest of the Visayas and the rest of Luzon, and from the south to southwest over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
