MANILA, Aug. 11 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) has already identified the police officers who allegedly acted as hitmen of the Parojinog clan in Ozamiz City.

This was disclosed by PNP head Director General Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa in wake of President Rodrigo Duterte's recent order to arrest the above-mentioned cops following the discovery of alleged mass graves in Ozamiz City.

These officers will be subjected to investigations so that the truth will come out, he added.

Earlier, the PNP announced that it is now constructing timeline of the alleged crimes committed by the clan to determine if these police officers participated in the above-mentioned actions.

President Duterte earlier announced he is giving a PHP2 million bounty for each policeman allegedly involved in the killing of security forces and civilians in conspiracy with the Parojinogs in Ozamiz City.

The Parojinog patriarch, Mayor Reynaldo Sr., his wife, and 14 others were recently killed in a police raid at their homes in Barangay San Roque Lawis. The raid yielded guns and illegal drugs. Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog and Reynaldo Jr. were arrested and charged with illegal drugs and weapons possession after the raid. (With Kathryn Villamayor [OJT]/PNA)
