2 big-time Bulacan drug dealers fall; P2.5-M 'shabu' seized

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan -- Police on Saturday busted two alleged big-time drug dealers in a buy bust operation in Barangay San Vicente, Sta. Maria town.

Bulacan police director, Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., identified the arrested suspects as Christopher Dave Colangcoy, 31, married, resident of Barangay San Vicente, Sta. Maria, and Janel Roldan, 20, single, resident of Barangay Sapang Palay, City of San Jose del Monte.

Caramat said anti-narcotics operatives of the Sta. Maria Police Station headed by Supt. Raniel Valones conducted a coordinated buy bust operation against the two suspects.

Before the arrest, the poseur buyer was able to buy a heat-sealed transparent sachet of suspected shabu from the duo in exchange for PHP1,000 marked money.

Caramat said police recovered one big plastic bag and three sachets of small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of illegal drugs (shabu) including the buy bust item weighing 500 grams with market value of PHP2.5 million; PHP 1,000 marked money; one caliber .22 revolver loaded with two live ammunition; one improvised glass tooter; one stainless pair of scissors; one digital weighing scale; and one bundle transparent plastic sachets.

The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while criminal complaints of violation of Republic Act 9165 Section 5, 11, 12 and 26 and violation of RA 10591 will be filed in court against the two suspects.
