CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan -- Anti-narcotics police have apprehended three suspected big-time drug pushers in a series of buy-bust operations in Barangays San Martin de Porres and Kaypian here Sunday night.

In a report to Bulacan Police Director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., San Jose Del Monte City police chief Supt. Fitz Macariola on Monday identified the arrested suspects as Rene Oliva, 39, of Barangay San Martin de Porres; Jaber Amparo, 26, and Airene Carreon, 25, both residents of Barangay Kaypian here.

Macariola said that Oliva is listed as one of the major suppliers of “street shabu” in the city.

He said the suspect was arrested after selling a plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” worth PHPP500 to a police undercover agent. When frisked, the suspect yielded 31 more plastic sachets of suspected “shabu.”

In Barangay Kaypian, police operatives arrested Amparo and Carreon after selling a plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” to a police poseur buyer.

Macariola said police operatives recovered 11 more plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 10 grams from the two suspects.

Macariola said drug pushing charges and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act will be filed against the suspects. (PNA)
