DUMAGUETE CITY – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental has been named one of the recipients of the regional “Best Brigada Ahensya” award.

LTO-Bayawan District Office chief Alberta Janine F. Lawas said Wednesday she received a letter dated Sept. 18, 2017 from the Civil Service Commission in Region 7, signed by Director IV Editha Lozano, informing her of the award.

This is one of the highlights of the 117th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, with the theme “Tugaon sa Hamon sa Pagbabago: Malasakit ng Lingkod Bayani”.

The regional awarding ceremony is set in the afternoon of September 28 at the Montebello Villa Hotel in Banilad, Cebu City.

The awarding ceremony “aims to recognize outstanding achievements of public servants in Region 7 and to motivate others to strive for excellence,” the CSC director said in her letter.

Among those that will be recognized are Region 7’s winners in the Search for Outstanding Government Workers or the Honor Awards Program (HAP), Search For Best Brigada Ahensya, Best Bilis Aksyon Partners, Most Outstanding Human Resource Management Practitioner, and recognition of agency partners, the CSC added.
