DAVAO CITY -- This year’s edition of the annual Gaisano Grand Cup will hold a two-day basketball coaching seminar and workshop on September 29 and 30 at the 5th Level of the Gaisano Grand Citimall on Ilustre St.
Tournament director and project operations head Rael Diaz said he has invited all the coaches, sports coordinators and PE teachers of all schools to the seminar.
The seminar will tackle “Coaching Principles”, “Who is a Coach?”, “Fundamentals of Coaching”, “Coaching Program (Off-Season to On-Season)” and “On-Court Drills (Practice-Competition)”.
Registration fee is P500 inclusive of lunch and snacks for two days and a certificate.
The seminar-workshop will be held in connection with the upcoming 15th edition of the annual inter-school basketball tournament slated to kick off next month.

Through the years, GG Cup has become an instrument and a way of giving students an avenue to showcase their talents, enhance their prowess in basketball and developing the culture of sportsmanship among them,” said Diaz.
