MANILA -- Most parts of the country will experience isolated rainshowers, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and Mindanao will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Sarangani, South Cotabato and Davao Occidental.

Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to a northeasterly surface windflow, PAGASA added.

On the other hand, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, typhoon "Saola" (local name "Quedan") already left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday. It was last eyed at 1,495 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes.

Moderate to strong winds will blow over Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan, Bicol, Aurora, Rizal and Quezon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of the archipelago with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
