SAN JOSE De BUENAVISTA, Antique -- Prominent Antiqueños here and abroad are invited to join in the Grand Ballroom, one of the most anticipated events of the ongoing Binirayan Festival in Antique.
Eric Otayde, Binirayan Festival Executive Director, said the gala event would be held evening of December 28 at the EBJ Freedom Park.
“This is one of the anticipated events of the Binirayan Festival when the prominent people come out to dance in their best gowns and attire,” he said.
Those attending will also have to join a PHP5,000 per plate dinner, a fundraising event.
Proceeds from the dinner will be used for the construction of toilets in front of public hospitals in the province.
“There are already Balikbayans who have confirmed their attendance,” Otayde said.
Meanwhile, the opening salvo of the Binirayan Festival 2017 last December 1 was a success attended by so many people.
“They are really happy to see the beauty of the plaza with the lighting of the Christmas lights and fireworks display,” Otayde said.
The Binirayan Festival is going to be a month-long event in Antique province. (PNA)
