MANILA -- The Office of the Political Adviser (OPA) is warning the public against a certain Jolo Granados, an individual posing as an assistant secretary of the office.

In a notice from Malacanang signed by OPA Secretary Francis Tolentino, the office said, "No one named Jolo Granados is or was employed in and by the OPA, much less as assistant secretary."

The Palace said Granados was handing out business cards with an incorrect address and a seal much different from the official OPA seal.

"The OPA wishes to advise the public that it has not authorized any such individual to solicit money or other objects of value from the public for the alleged benefit of Marawi soldiers, senior citizens, illegal drug campaigns or any other cause, for that matter," it said. (PNA)
