MANILA -- Rene Catalan is looking to add another Chinese fighter to his list of victims as he takes his shot in the One Championship's first event for 2018, One: Kings of Courage at the Jakarta Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 20.
Catalan will take on Peng Xue Wen in an undercard match of the said event.
He has racked up three straight wins at One with two wins coming from his square off with Chinese opponents.
This time, he will test the mettle of Peng, who is a known grappling expert.
In the main event, Tiffany Teo and Xiong Jingnan will battle for the inaugural One women's straw weight title.
In the supporting bout, Stefer Rahardian and Muhammad Imran will clash in a One flyweight title eliminator.
Meanwhile, a grappling super-match will take place as former mixed martial arts champs Marat Gafurov and Shinya Aoki collide in another bout. (PNA)
