Easterlies to bring isolated rains Thursday

MANILA — Easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country will bring isolated rains in that part of the country Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said the easterlies will bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstroms over Cagayan Valley, Bicol region, Caraga, Davao region and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Mindoro and Palawan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have sunny weather although isolated rainshowers would be experienced mostly over the eastern section.

There are no gale warnings and winds will be light to moderate coming from thw east to northeast. The coastal waters will be slight to moderate. (PNA)
