Easterlies, NE monsoon to bring rains Tuesday: PAGASA

MANILA—The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Atmospheric Services Administration (PAGASA) said two weather systems would bring isolated rains in the country Tuesday.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon while the easterlies is affecting the rest of the country.

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by easterlies will be experienced over northern Mindanao, Caraga and Davao region.

Batanes and the Babuyan group of islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeastern monsoon.

The rest of Cagayan Valley region, Ilocos region and the Cordillera Administrative Region will have light rains also due to the northeastern monsoon.

On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy or cloudy with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms. (PNA)
