MANILA -- The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said scattered rainshowers will be experienced in most parts of the country as the northeast monsoon affects northern Luzon and the easterlies over the rest of the country.

In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather bureau said the regions of Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Davao, and the provinces of Eastern Samar, Leyte and Bohol will have scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Cordillera, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will also experience scattered rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. (PNA)
