MANILA— Rains will prevail in some parts of the country Friday as the tail of a cold front affects the eastern section of southern Luzon and the northeast monsoon over northern and central Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Bicol region, Samar provinces, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the tail-end of a cold front.
Cagayan Valley region, Cordillera, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with scattered rains caused by northeast monsoon.
The Ilocos region and the rest of central Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains also from the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers brought about by localized thunderstorms. (PNA)
