TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – Cavite’s Liga ng Barangay (LnB) has elected Paolo Crisostomo as its president on Monday at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan session hall at the Provincial Capitol here.
As LnB provincial federation president, Crisostomo will automatically become ex-officio Provincial Board member to represent Cavite province’s 829 village chiefs from 23 towns and cities.
“I have accepted the new challenge in my life and in my political career here in Cavite," said Board Member Crisostomo, erstwhile president of the Silang LnB town federation.
He will join the session of the provincial board, together with Board Members of the seven districts of Cavite, Cavite Councilors' League (CCL) Federation president Kerby Salazar, and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation president Rhyan Natanauan.
He will be part of the Sangguniang Paglalawigan (provincial legislative council) with Vice-Governor Ramon 'Jolo' Revilla III as presiding official.
The new set of LnB elected officials, who are also Association of Barangay Captain (ABC) presidents in their respective towns or cities, are Alvin Bunag representing Kawit town as vice-president; Cornelio De Sagun of Trece Martires City as secretary; with Board of Directors Deonilo Bersamina of Ternate town, Avid Saptian Jr. of Imus City, Venancio Vicedo of Mendez, Roger Camilo of Naic town, Roderick Paycana of GMA town, Marissa Cuadro of Tagaytay City, Erliza Vidallon of Carmona and Estelito Hernandez.
