MANILA -- AirAsia Philippines, in partnership with RCBC, launched the AirAsia credit card on Wednesday evening in Taguig City.

During the launch, AirAsia Philippines chief executive officer Dexter Comendador said the credit card aims to provide AirAsia passengers with more opportunities and perks in traveling and shopping.

Perks and points await cardholders every time they use the credit card. Points collected may be converted to free flights, according to AirAsia.

Priority check-in and boarding may also be availed of, it added.

AirAsia Credit cardholders will receive real-time SMS alerts service that gives them security and control over their spending.

"The card also enables conversion of straight purchases to zero percent at three months to up to 36 months installment term, access to cash anywhere in the world, and free travel insurance and purchase protection," RCBC president Simon Calasanz said. (PNA)
