DHAKA -- To develop the mutual cooperation in the field of arts, education and culture, the Philippines and Bangladesh signed an agreement on cultural exchange programs from 2018 to 2020.

Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Nasir Uddin Ahmed and Ambassador of the Philippines Vicente Vivencio Bandillo signed on Thursday last week a memorandum of agreement (MOU) on behalf of their respective governments at the conference room of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs in the capital.

The MOU aims to provide programs that would "broaden the cooperation of the two countries in the cultural sphere through exchange of cultural and historical information, literature, film, arts and cultural troupes.”
