MANILA – The South Korean girl group, Blackpink, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Friday evening, causing commotion among Filipino fans.

Airport authorities tried to stop hundreds of fans from running near the entrance of the arrival area, hoping to get a glimpse of the girl group's members.

Some fans even climbed an Airport Police Department's mobile to get a better view for photos.

Because of this, the K-pop group was allowed to use the ramp to leave.

Normally, only dignitaries are allowed to go through the ramp.

Blackpink's members, Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rose are in the country for a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

The group is known for their song "Ddu-Du Ddu-du". (PNA)
