MANILA -- Access MBA, a global leader in one-to-one business education events, will hold an open fair in Manila to showcase international masters programs in a variety of fields.
The fair, dubbed as "Access Masters Spring 2019 Tour", will include 60 leading international business schools. It will be held at the Pan Pacific in Manila on April 5 under the supervision of the Advent Group.
Christoph Coutat, Advent Group’s founder and managing director, in a statement said the same event will take place in 23 cities across the world, and students and fresh graduates can expect to meet representatives from such universities as the IE Business School, The University of Sydney and Hult International Business School, among others.
“Since the introduction of the Access Masters Tour to the world of postgraduate education events in 2009, it has grown to feature 80 events held all over the world. It continues to grow in popularity as every season we work towards improving the experience for schools and event attendees,” he said.
Coutat said attendees could explore international masters programs in a variety of fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Social Sciences and Humanities.
"There will be one-to-one sessions where prospective students can identify international business and management-related masters programs taught in English that correspond to their background," he said, adding that aspiring STEM applicants can also benefit from them.
Apart from the in-person meetings with admission officers, attendees can learn from roundtable discussions and university presentations, orientation sessions for school selection, advice on admission tests like Test of English as a Foreign Language, International English Language Testing System, Graduate Record Examination and Graduate Management Admission Test.
They can also learn about successful applications to international masters programs and how to finance their studies. (PNA)
