MANILA -- Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Monday launched its Independence Day seat sale, wherein over 2 million seats would be up for grabs from May 27 to June 2.
"We're basically giving our customers the freedom to fly and enjoy the perks of PAL at incredibly low prices. There is an array of low packages to choose from," PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna told the Philippine News Agency (PNA).
In this seat sale, the public could avail of one-way domestic economy tickets for as low as PHP399, one-way premium economy tickets as low as PHP1,399, and one-way business class tickets as low as PHP3,999.
For international flights, they could purchase round trip economy tickets as low as USD89, premium economy as low as USD299, and business class as low as USD199.
Travel period for domestic routes is from June 17, 2019 to March 31, 2020, and June 24, 2019 to March 31, 2020 for international routes.
Villaluna said PAL has been conducting Independence Day seat sales since 2016. Prior to that, the carrier marked the occasion with other projects.
Last March 1-10, PAL allotted 2 million seats for its anniversary sale. Additional 1 million seats were offered from March 11-17 to extend the promo. (PNA)
