MANILA -- Cebu Pacific (CEB) on Thursday afternoon advised passengers bound for Osaka to allow ample time for extra security measures implemented by Japanese authorities in line with the G20 Summit in the East Asian country from June 28 to 29.

Passengers are advised to expect random screening or interviews, random passport inspection, manual inspection of baggage, K-9 inspection, among others.

Aside from these, ample time must be allotted for immigration screening as well as other pre-departure activities like check-in and bag drop.

All flights arriving in Japan will be subject to additional security checks from midnight on June 27, until midnight on July 1

CEB advises passengers to use the mobile or web check-in.

Meanwhile, Osaka travelers are also advised that transportation may be limited going to and from the Kansai International Airport during the summit. (PNA)
