MANILA -- Noted healing priest Fr. Fernando M. Suarez continues his mission, curing sick people from all walks of life.

On Saturday, throngs of Catholic faithful trooped to St. Vincent Church in Tandang Sora, Quezon City to attend a healing Mass officiated by Fr. Suarez.

In his homily, Fr. Suarez emphasized that it is God’s almighty power that cures the sick, and he is just being an instrument of the Lord in the healing process.

He said that he is powerless and points to our Lord Jesus Christ as the true healer.

During the anointing of the sick following the Mass, many fell down on the floor after being touched by Fr. Suarez.

Four to five laymen standing behind cushioned the fall, and put them gently on the floor.

Some did not fall and went back to their seats.

A 62-year old housewife, Mrs. Fe Morales, a cancer survivor, who underwent four major surgeries when asked why she “collapsed” after being prayed over by Fr. Suarez, she said: “I don’t know, but it happened so fast that I just fell down on my back.”

For Fr. Suarez, who has become popular for his healing ministry, told the hundreds of devotees attending the Mass at St. Vincent that trust in our Lord Jesus Christ is vital for one who wishes to be healed of his sickness, however, dreaded it may be.

He also said that in many occasions, one is healed instantly through prayers.

Fr. Suarez also recalled an incident when a man who suffered seven strokes in one day, miraculously survived and healed completely after being anointed and prayed over.

“This is the power of prayer,” Fr. Suarez stressed.

After the Mass, many of the devotees went home smiling with joy and thanked God for healing them.

They asked for a “selfie” with Fr. Suarez, who complied gladly.

As a healing priest, Fr. Suarez has been going to places here and abroad to conduct his healing missions. (PNA)
