LIPA CITY, Batangas -- Real estate developer AboitizLand poured PHP7 billion in investments in this city and nearby Malvar town, transforming them Batangas communities into industrial hubs

Marking its 25th anniversary, AboitizLand has formally announced over the weekend the expansion of its “Industry City”, straddling Lipa and Malvar (LIMA) in Batangas, as an integrated ‘township’ that is home to top global and domestic firms alongside residential areas.

“After more than 20 years of establishing a stronghold in Cebu’s real estate scene, we have been expanding in Luzon to provide more Filipinos an improved quality of living. Our recent launches including our new properties in Batangas, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija are a testament to our continued and robust growth as a company,” said David Rafael, AboitizLand President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Rafael said they found the economic boom south of Metro Manila “very encouraging,” prompting the company to develop LIMA, touted as “a complete experience where residents can work, live, and play in one spot in Batangas as a swiftly-growing province.”

“We couldn’t have chosen a better time to boost our expansion as the company is at its best state, and we owe it to our two and a half decades of experience in the business,” Rafael added.

The company’s expansion this year is highlighted by its residential component, “The Villages at Lipa,” a 49-hectare cluster of well-built and-designed homes inspired by modern Filipino architecture, with amenities conducive to families, and a safe and secure community, the executive said.
