MANILA -- Shortly before 6 p.m., local carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced cancellation of flights to and from Hong Kong supposedly scheduled for Tuesday night.

The cancellation was still due to the protest actions inside the Hong Kong International Airport, it said.

The cancelled flights are 5J 114/115 Manila-Hong Kong-Manila, and 5J 120/121 Clark-Hong Kong-Clark.

Passengers of these flights are currently being notified, according to CEB.

The carrier advises passengers to reconsider flying to and from Hong Kong until August 15.

Passengers of affected flights may rebook, refund or place the ticket cost in a travel fund, free of charge. (PNA)
