MANILA -- The technical delegates from various sports gathered on Wednesday during the 2nd Technical Delegates Meeting held at the Polkabal Ballroom of The Manila Hotel.

Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc) Chief Operating Officer Ramon "Tats" Suzara hosted the event and presented the Technical Delegates to the media for the first time.

"I always give importance to all our technical delegates. We give importance mostly to the coaches the athletes, but of course let us not forget the technical delegates because they will play a crucial role for the success of the coming 30th SEA Games," Suzara said.
Suzara pointed out that organizing the 11-nation meet won’t be possible without the help and expertise of these technical delegates.

Valson Cuddikotta, the technical delegate for athletics, commended Suzara for conducting the meeting and the press conference for the officials.

Cuddikotta has expressed high hopes that the biennial meet would be the best edition of the SEA Games in history due to the adequate preparations being done by the Philippines.

He cited the track and field stadium in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac as a world-class facility where the Philippines can readily host a global-level tournament in the near future.

"We have never been invited for a press conference like this. PHISGOC has put a lot of effort to come up with such fantastic venues. I believe that the Philippines can now conduct any event of the highest magnitude," Cuddikotta said.

Also present in the meeting were the Technical Delegates of Aquatics – Swimming Naddeh, Ibrahim Fadil, Aquatics – Water Polo Kuroda Katsumi, Sepak Takraw - Abdul Kader and Abdul Halim Bin, Agus Antares Mauro of Basketball, Sebastian Lau of Esports and Datu Low Beng Choo of Softball.

"I need guidance from them to run the SEA Games. It is just fitting to give them importance," said Suzara. (PR)
