Southwest monsoon affects northern Luzon

MANILA -- Fair weather will prevail in most parts of the country Monday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon (habagat) is affecting northern Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila and other selected cities ranges from 26-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 22-34 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-23 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-34 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 26-33 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
