MANILA -- The northeasterly surface windflow will bring rain showers over Luzon on Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the northeasterly surface windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers brought about by localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the weather bureau said Typhoon Hagibis was last observed at 2,020 kilometers east of northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 200 kms and gusts of up to 245 kms per hour and moving slowly at 20 kph.

PAGASA said that Hagibis has a low chance of entering the PAR. It earlier said the typhoon would enter PAR this weekend.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 26-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 22-30 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-24 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-33. (PNA)
