MANILA -- Typhoon 'Hagibis' may no longer enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but its trough will bring rains over parts of the country Thursday.

The trough of the typhoon, however, will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol region, eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga and Davao region.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA weather specialist Loriedin dela Cruz said the northeasterly surface wind flow of the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will prevail over Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds from the northwest with moderate to rough coastal waters will prevail in the northern and eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas seaboards.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 26-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-23 degrees Celsius; SBMA 24-33 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-33 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26-34 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
