MANILA -- The Philippine Air Force (PAF), through its Bids and Awards Committee, is allocating PHP32.98 million for the acquisition of spare parts needed for the repair and maintenance of the electrical instrument systems of one of its Rockwell OV-10 "Bronco" attack aircraft.

The submission and opening of bids will be on October 28, 9:15 a.m. at the PAF Procurement Center Conference Room, Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, the bid bulletin posted at the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System said Tuesday.

"The Philippine Air Force reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders," said PAF Bids and Awards Committee chairperson Brig. Gen. Carlo Bueno N. Buena in the bid bulletin.

The PAF is known to operate between six to eight OV-10 units for patrol missions.

Like its other air attack assets, the "Bronco" is assigned to the 15th Strike Wing based in Sangley Point, Cavite. (PNA)
