MANILA -- At least six domestic flights were canceled Wednesday afternoon due to bad weather, according to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
These flights were Cebu Pacific (5J) 504/505, 506/507 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila; and Skyjet (M8) 816/817 Manila-Basco-Manila.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast strong to gale force wind over Batanes due to the surge of northeast monsoon.
It also forecast light to moderate with occasional heavy rains over Batanes and Cagayan on Wednesday. (PNA)
