MANILA -- Fair weather will prevail over most parts of the country but the northeast monsoon continues to affect Luzon Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, provinces of Quezon and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon (amihan).

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon hovering over most parts of the country.

The Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or rain-induced landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern and eastern sections of northern Luzon will have strong winds from the northeast with rough coastal waters.

Metro Manila temperature ranges from 23-31 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 19-26 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 14-23 degrees Celsius; SBMA 22-31 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 23-29 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-31 degree Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-33 degree Celsius. (PNA)
