DAVAO CITY -- Authorities seized a total of PHP1.2 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust in a mall here Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the suspect as Linda Ledres, 50, of Brgy. La Filipina, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.
Ledres was arrested for illegal possession of 75 grams of shabu after allegedly transacting with a poseur-buyer inside Victoria Plaza.
A report from the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) said Ledres had been a subject of week-long surveillance following a tip of her alleged illegal activities.
Police said the suspect also yielded a cellular phone believed to be used for her drug transactions, drug paraphernalia, and other pieces of evidence.
DCPO said Ledres will be facing charges for violations of Section 11 and 12 of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
