Singh to fight Gulpe for ABF middle title Feb. 15

DAVAO CITY -- Indian Prabhjot "Punjabi Lion" Singh, who now lives in Meycauayan City, Bulacan will fight Nelson "Mr. Fantastic" Gulpe of Surigao del Sur for the vacant Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) middleweight title on Feb. 15 at the Manila Arena in Sta. Ana, Manila.

The 26-year-old Singh (8W-4L-1D, 7KO) recently won a unanimous decision over Edsil "Toto" Jungco of Antique to win the vacant Philippine Boxing Federation middleweight title last Aug. 3 in Mandaluyong City.

Gulpe (8W-13L-0D, 3KO), on the other hand, lost to Rimar Metuda of General Santos City by a unanimous decision last Dec. 15.

Meanwhile, there are also four other title fights and local matches included come fight night.

Local fights include Richard Claveras of Negros Occidental vs. Richard Rosales of Bohol (8 rds); Ador Torres of Sorsogon vs. Benjie Suganob of Zamboanga (8 rds); Jose Roda Jr. of Malabon vs. Alvin Bais of Cotabato (6 rds); Romer Pinili of Cavite vs. Dexter Eraya of Samar (6 rds); Jayson Vayson of Agusan vs. Reymar Condes of Bacolod (6 rds); Bryan Tamayo of Samar vs. Kier Clenton Espere of Taguig (6 rds)' and Elmar Zamora vs. Justin Espejo (6 rds).
