MANILA -- Fair weather will continue to prevail on Tuesday as the northeast monsoon (amihan) affects northern and central Luzon.

"We do not see any weather disturbance that may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the next two to three days," said Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Meno Mendoza.

Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque and Oriental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Visayas will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon, said Mendoza.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience hot temperature, and may also experience thunderstorms either in the afternoon or evening.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow over northern Luzon, and the eastern section of Luzon. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
