DAVAO CITY – Mayor Sara Z. Duterte is calling on residents to help the local government locate coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patient Arani Hajiba, who fled from a government-run patient care center on Saturday (May 9).

Mayor Sara's call coincided with the release of Hajiba's facial composite on Tuesday to help authorities locate her quickly and for the public to avoid interactions with her.

Hajiba, a resident of Barangay 23-C, is described as between 20 to 24-years-old and whose prominent feature is a lump on the left side of her neck.

“She remains missing and could not be located even in their home and in their barangay,” Duterte said.

“We will ask the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) to study the liabilities of Hajiba after she breached the protocols and guidelines of the Covid-19 pandemic,” the mayor added.

Duterte urged anyone who may know the whereabouts of Hajiba to call the police through mobile number 0917-7002105, or Police Maj. Michael Uyanguren, the Sta. Ana police station commander, through mobile number 0949-8250579. (PNA)
