MANILA – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) on Friday advised overseas Filipinos workers (OFWs) particularly those who were hired through government-to-government schemes, that they do not need to visit the agency to follow up on their applications once its normal operations resume.

“You don’t need to go to POEA to make a follow up. Wait for official announcements to be posted at the PORA website and Facebook accounts: Government Place Branch (GPB) in Action and Gov Place,” it said in an advisory.

The POEA will also implement a “no appointment, no entry” policy in compliance with the protocols set by the government.

It added that the list of names with schedules to POEA for processing of documents will be posted on its Facebook account.

OFWs are also advised to send their queries to GPB email [email protected].

The POEA also provided cellphone numbers that OFWs may call from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Mondays to Fridays only.
