MANILA – Adhering to the protocols set by the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) for possibly resuming practice, the NLEX Road Warriors underwent testing for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

On Thursday at the North Luzon Expressway office in Quezon City, the entire squad from the players to the coaching staff led by Head Coach Yeng Guiao and the rest of the team staff took the Covid-19 test to ensure that they are free from the deadly virus.

The testing was also part of the MVP Group chairman Manny Pangilinan's call to all his three PBA clubs to undergo Covid-19 testing soon enough.

The Meralco Bolts were already done with the testing on Monday, while the TNT KaTropa will take their own testing next week.

On Wednesday, the PBA board of governors resolved that only those who tested negative for Covid-19 will be cleared for the resumption of practices once the protocols it set gets the approval from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Earlier in the week, the San Miguel Corporation announced that all its three PBA representatives are now cleared to train again as the players tested negative for Covid-19. (PNA)
