MANILA – The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao will continue to bring rain showers over some parts of the archipelago, the weather bureau said Friday.

Palawan, the Zamboanga Peninsula, Soccsksargen, and Western and Central Visayas will still experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather specialist Meno Mendoza said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather.
Isolated rain showers may be experienced due to localized thunderstorms, he added.

The whole country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.

Mendoza, meanwhile, said there will be no weather disturbance in the next two to three days. (PNA)
